Seoul to prevent N-po Generation by providing "financial aid/public house" for 25,000 newlywed couples/year



The mayor of Seoul city, Mr. Park Won-soon pledged to provide "financial aid or public house" for 25,000 newlywed couples/year, according to the news report published in the website of soul government.

The report says that in last seven years, the average housing rent increased by 44%, while the increase in average salary was only 11%.

Consequently, the newlywed couples are struggling to meet the monthly rent and paying interest for housing loans. This problem lead to “N-po Generation, a generation giving up a number of essential human activities, seems including giving a birth to baby.
